This project aims to reduce the gap between the rapid pace of digital transformation and the training of specialists in various fields, especially those unrelated to IT. Currently, specialists are not sufficiently qualified to work effectively with digital technologies and tools and understand the possible pitfalls in their use, including mental health and legal issues.

The NEXT project will include several activities, project meetings, trainer training, a student project competition, and a student conference to achieve the above goals. The project will result in the following: the NEXT-Study learning environment, which will facilitate the creation of a shared repository of various learning resources that any student can use to improve their knowledge in a particular area; learning resources covering various topics of digital skills and digital literacy; the NEXT-Collaboration virtual platform to improve communication skills in a virtual workspace; and the NEXT-Network to ensure the sustainability of the project results.

The project will significantly contribute to bringing future specialists' digital and software skills in line with the modern requirements of digitalisation and the formation of a ‘digital’ labour market in Ukraine.
